ARGUMENT:

"Nathalie Foster a modern girl New Jersey, is sent by her mother for a month Summer with the Amish community in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The Amish are people who lead a simple life style, emulating the XVII century farmer, living without electricity and used as transportation by horse-drawn carts. Can withstand that terrible summer Nathalie imposed by his mother?
But in his short vacation, he meets Max Hitz a young Amish who falls in love. Despite that feeling and decides to go to forget about what lived and erase everything that is feeling. Continue with life as it always has, and who is not willing to give up everything he has for him.
Seven years later the fate back together and discover still loves him as the first day. This time I will be willing to forget the prejudices and fight for true love? "

time ago that the book came into my hands and I have to confess that I read it quickly. Only a few pages, a new history and hitch, unfortunately due to time constraints I could not get to review today.

"A kiss that would end forever the pain, so welcome to a pure feeling and unbreakable. A feeling that neither time nor managed to break prejudices, that to love you only need two people brave, ready to face all in the name of that love "

I chose this passage from the book because I think it perfectly expresses the content.
The argument was rather surprised me, I have to admit that it is not uncommon to see a romance novel that has as its protagonist a member of an Amish colony, but this has not stopped being interesting and tender love story that told in this book.

Our protagonist, Nathalie, is a typical seventeen year old girl hooked on new technologies, why has neglected his studies and his grades have dropped, so her mother thought that the best way to show your daughter facilities are not everything, has decided to send home a friend who is in the Amish community in New Jersey, thinking that the experience can bring something enriching.
As usual, the girl takes to raise Cain, her mother has been threatened with the punishment but never carried out ... until now. Nathalie

have a month to learn about Amish culture and their peculiar way of life.
During his stay in the community, Nathalie meets Max, a son of the family that is hosting an attractive and curious boy soon wins the heart of the teenager, being in love with her himself.

But how can a teen love bridge the gap between two very different cultures? How can Nathalie give up everything for Max, his dreams of going to college, your future projects? She loves him but can not stay with him, their lives are very different.
Life goes on and years pass, Nathalie has fulfilled all his dreams as a teenager, has graduated, has gone to college and now works as a reporter for a newspaper, even has to Travis, his college girlfriend, his life seemed perfect until his boss called his office to give a new assignment, write an article about the culture and day to day in an Amish colony.
you be able to return to the house where he spent the best month of his life? Can face Max again after years he had virtually abandoned?
In this book, Denise presents the life and customs that exist in an Amish community, as they reject the Pride and material things and embrace humility, as well as professing a deep spiritual faith tender mingling with people they tear a smile, normal and tolerant people can interact with others who are not its scope or understand their culture, this is undoubtedly one of the features that startled in this book, it has been a shift in what I'm used to read.
The tests that are subject Nathalie Max and throughout the book are testing their love over and over Once, when you think you will be together, something happens that stands between them again.

What I've been missing is a little deeper into the characters, especially in the side, a slightly more extensive introduction to explain to us who is Vanessa, or as is actually the relationship with her boyfriend Travis Nathalie who really the end of the book disappears too quickly.
Moreover, it was a book I liked a lot, mostly well-written and engaging from first page to last.

My Score: 6.5
